There is a whole world of excitement waiting to be discovered and why not let David Baker, Head Distiller and Founder from Bakery Hill guide you through the often confusing aspects of whisky appreciation.

The course will be usually be conducted on Tuesday evenings and commence at 6.30pm. Sessions last approximately 2 hours, with 6 whisky samples along with finger food provided.

Week 1 - Whisky 101:  

Whiskies - blended, vatted and single malts. What is the difference? Let Master Distiller David Baker walk you through the basics of Whisky appreciation. Try samples of each variety and introduce your palette to the varied types of Whisky on offer.

Week 2 - Whisky regions of Scotland: 

Take a trip with us to the home of Whisky as we wander the different Whisky regions of Scotland. Try samples from the Highland, Lowland, Islands and Speyside. Learn about the what regions inspired David Baker when creating Bakery Hill.
Week 3 - Whiskies of the world:

Discover amazing malts from the furthest corners of the globe: from Scotland and Sweden through to America, Japan and all parts in between.

Week 4 - Bakery Hill Single Malts:

We've saved the best for last. The ultimate tour ,sipping your way through all of our unique malts produced right here in Victoria.                                    

The March sessions will be held at Whisky & Alement (270 Russell St, Melbourne) in their new upstairs function area. Each Master Class is subject to capacity, so book early to lock in your spot!
