4 Night Master Class


The wide world of whisky is just waiting to be discovered, so why not let David and Andrew Baker, Head Distiller, Founder and distillers from Bakery Hill Distillery guide you through the amazing smells, tastes and stories of Single Malt whisky, whilst also dispelling a few myths along the way. 

Spend two hours each night discussing, sipping and enjoying tales from actual whisky distillers and look forward to unleashing your new knowledge on your friends and family afterwards! 

In each session you will receive 6 samples of premium and extremely varied whisky, along with gourmet finger food. 

Our Masterclasses are held at The Elysian whisky Bar, 113 Brunswick St, Fitzroy.

Each session commences at 6.30pm sharp, please feel free to join us in the bar for a welcome drink from 6pm.

Also if there is a session or two you cannot attend, we will happily include you in a future running of the Masterclass. So you don't miss a thing!

Week 1 - Whisky Essentials

Whiskies - blended, vatted, single malts, peated, unpeated, malt, American Oak, French Oak. What is the difference? How is it made? Try samples of each variety and introduce your palette to the varied types of Whisky on offer.

Week 2 - The Whisky regions of Scotland

Take a trip with us to the home of Whisky as we wander the different Whisky regions of Scotland. Try samples from the Highlands, Lowlands, Islands and Speyside. Learn about the what regions inspired David Baker when creating Bakery Hill.

Week 3 - Whiskies from around the World

Discover amazing malts from the furthest corners of the globe: from Ireland and Sweden through to America, Japan and all parts in between.

Week 4 - The Bakery Hill Single Malt Range

We've saved the best for last. The ultimate tour, sipping your way through all of our unique malts produced right here in Victoria.
