Bakery Hill has always had a malt-forward profile, with notes of stone fruit and an umami, yeasty backbone (which a good friend of mine once likened to Vegemite on toast), and this remains evident throughout the release.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eOn the front palate, this spirit character is immediately apparent, balanced against the cask. A burst of juicy apricot leads the way, sitting alongside bold barbecued pineapple and softer chocolate notes derived from the Hop Nation “Kalash” stout cask.
